Saying Goodbye to Muppet Vision 3D

As Miss Piggy sings in Muppets Take Manhatten, “Saying goodbye, Going away, Seems like goodbye’s such a hard thing to say.”

We knew this day was coming, but I think most of us Muppet Vision 3D fans were in denial. Sadly we can’t be in denial anymore as Disney Parks has announced the dates for when Muppet Vision 3D will be closing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to make way for the new Monster’s Inc. Roller Coster and Land.

Progress walls will go up on Grand Ave at the end of March. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will serve its final guests on May 10, 2005.

Muppet Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will have their final curtain call on June 7, 2025.

While this is goodbye, it’s not forever. Our Muppet friends will have a new home on Sunset Blvd. as Disney rethemes Rock N Roller Coaster to feature the Muppets. And hopefully, one day, we get Muppet Vision 3D back as well (please DISNEY, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE)
